How many times have you heard “If it’s meant to be, then it
will be”? I hear a lot of people refer
to this statement when someone is going through a break-up or difficult time in
a relationship.
The fact is that this statement is false and couldn’t be
further from the truth.
The enemy of our soul is out to steal every promise of God
from us.
If God has promised you something or somebody then you must
do your part and fight for it. We can’t
continue on in a lifestyle that destroys relationships and expect “if it’s
meant to be, then it will be” to happen.
We must be obedient and diligent in prayer.
Relationships don’t just happen, but destroying them
does. Happy relationships don’t just
happen, but loving on purpose makes them great.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and
destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
The thief is out to steal your promises, my promises, he
wants us miserable, believing lies straight from the pit of Hell. We must engage in prayer, know who we are in
Christ, fight for what is ours and intercede for those who are weak.
