The power of God does not come to arrogant people. People who think they have it all
together. Or those that believe they can
fix it, they have it all under control.
It is only in glorifying our weaknesses that the power of
God is made strong in our circumstances.
If we are going to experience/encounter the fullness of the
Holy Spirit we have to get real with God, be transparent with God, be
transparent with people, and say Lord deal with my dark place, deal with my
crooked place, deal with my heart.
2 Cor 12:9-10 - But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient
for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all
the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in
weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For
when I am weak, then I am strong.
